In Greek Mythology, Castor and Pollux (sons of Zeus and Leda) were known as the Gemini – They protected travelers and sailors, and were known to intervene during times of crisis

Opposite side has a sea-eagle grasping a dolphin with talons

Original coin from Istros, 400 – 350 B.C.

Measures approximately 12.5 mm x 15 mm
